Project Showcase
Northern Ontario Wires (NOW) System Modeling
System Modeling represents the electrical connection of the components and the geographic aspect, which transcribes the locations and connections of the distribution lines, the generators, and the loads. The system manages the flow of electricity and all of its components in relation to the geographic area. The system modeling was created to assess system diagnostic against CSA standards for acceptable operating limits (e.g., voltage).
Burman Energy Consultant Group Inc. conducted three types of analysis under the DESS program for Northern Ontario Wires (NOW); System Optimization, Arc Flash Study, and Capacity Profile for FIT preparedness.
